D-Day...

To all who have been wanting desperately to know if we are having a boy or a girl....you are just going to have to wait a little longer!

We went to the doctor today and the baby is a healthy 13 ounces. It's heartbeat was 147 and all measurements were good. They were able to rule out Downs Syndrome and make sure that it has a healthy heart and brain as well as good circulation, etc. The only negative is that the baby is currently breech but they assured us it has plenty of time to move before delivery is expected so no worries!

As for the gender, we promised our parents that we would wait to tell the rest of the world until they find out on Saturday so we will make sure you all find out then. We are just so thankful that it is healthy.

Here is an ultrasound shot or two to keep you interested. Don't worry if you don't know what is what...we didn't always either although Spence was surprisingly well-versed in the difference between a foot and hand or arm and leg which I was not. It all looked too similar to me! I maintain that it still has alien-like qualities but the nurse assured us that will go away. :)

And don't even TRY to guess what it is from this shot because it is IMPOSSIBLE! Trust us.
